Insurance and payment options
Safari Dentistry and Implants accepts Medi-Cal Dental, most PPO dental plans, most HMO dental plans, and private pay, and offers monthly payment plans on any balance. Bring your insurance card and photo ID to the first visit; the front desk verifies your benefits before treatment is planned so the written estimate reflects what your plan pays.
- PPO plans: billed directly; you pay the estimated patient portion at the visit.
- HMO plans: confirm Safari is your assigned office or ask your plan to switch it; some specialist services need an authorization.
- Medi-Cal Dental: exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions, deep cleanings, crowns on back teeth and dentures for adults; children’s coverage is broader.
- No insurance: a flat new-patient fee for the exam, X-rays and cleaning, and written prices for anything else.
- Payment plans: monthly payments on implants, cosmetic work and larger plans, arranged at the consultation.
Your first visit
- Book. Call or send the form; the front desk confirms a time and checks your insurance.
- Arrive 10 minutes early. Health history and consent forms take about that long. Free parking at the building.
- Exam, X-rays and a conversation. About an hour. Cleaning the same day when the gums allow.
- Written plan. If treatment is needed, you leave with the options and prices on paper.
